• The code update
cartridge contains a
corrupted image file or
the file is built
improperly.
1. Press the Unload button to unload
the tape cartridge from the drive.
2. Press the Open button to open the
magazine door.
3. Remove the magazine and close the
door. The mini-library does an
elevator scan.
4. Open the door again. The message
LDR RDY displays.
5. Verify you have the valid image for
your drive type (variant) in the
magazine. Ensure the image copied
to the tape cartridge is using a
block size of 4096.
6. Try the code update procedure
again using the valid tape image.
If you still cannot do the update,
call your service representative.
