6 Error Messages and Resolving Errors
6.1 General Information
All messages including error messages are displayed in the Log window of the
AMU operator console . The error number is indicated in brackets at the end of the
error message.
Additionally the host computer receives an error information.
With the error number additional information can be called up on the operating
system level (e.g. in an OS/2 window).
Enter "help amu" followed by the error number to call up the information.
A list of error messages is contained in the Maintenance Guide.
If no action is recommended or if the error cannot be resolved call the maintenance
technician of your service-partner or ADIC/GRAU Storage Systems.
CAUTION!
If you must enter the danger area inside the archive housing to determined or
resolve an error, be sure to observe the safety instructions .
