Warranty Information and Warranty Codes
Warranty information is summarized below . How ever, the terms and conditions of the w arranty as provided w ith the product apply.
The w arranty period show n for field add-on/upgrade items applies to the item itself only if the system is no longer covered by a w arranty or
service agreement. If the system is under w arranty or service agreement, then the terms and coverage provided by the system w arranty or
service agreement apply to the field add-on/upgrade item as w ell. Add-ons/upgrades added to a system under w arranty or a service
agreement do not affect the price or duration of the system's coverage. Add-on/upgrade items purchased at the same time as the system w ill
be covered for the duration of and at the same service level as the standard or uplifted system w arranty. All add-on/upgrade items added to a
system after its initial installation must be covered at the same service level as the system they are installed in. If the standard w arranty for the
add-on/upgrade item to be added to a system after its initial installation is at a low er service level than the system, a w arranty uplift must be
purchased for the add-on/upgrade item to cover it at the same service level as the system.
Unless stated otherw ise, all w arranty programs include telephone support during normal business hours (M-F, 8AM-5PM, local time, except
holidays) for the duration of the w arranty period.
