3. Follow the prompts to set up your account. Tap NEXT to proceed between steps, which may
include:
 Enter your First name and Last name.
 Enter a desired Username.
 Enter and reenter a password.
 Set a phone number to recover your Google Account in case you forget your password.
 View Privacy and Terms.
 Select Google service options.
 Set up payment information.
4. When the email setup is complete, your tablet will communicate with the Google server to confirm
your information.
Note: When setting up a new Google Account, either on your tablet or online, you will be prompted to add
a secondary email address. Enter a second Gmail address or any other email address from which you
currently send and receive email. This address is used to authenticate your account should you ever
encounter problems or forget your password. It is strongly encouraged for Android users so you can
regain access to Google services and purchases on your tablet.
Sign In to Your Google Account
If you have a Google Account but have not yet signed in with your tablet, follow these instructions to sign
in to your Google Account.
1. From the home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Accounts > Add account.
2. Tap Google, and then tap Enter your email.
3. Enter your Gmail address and password, and then tap NEXT.
