Turning off your convertible tablet PC
Waking up your convertible tablet PC
When you have not used your convertible tablet PC for several minutes
or if you close the LCD panel without turning off your convertible tablet
PC, it may enter a power-saving mode called Standby. While in Standby,
the power indicator flashes.
If your convertible tablet PC is in Standby mode, press the power button
to “wake” it up.
Turning off your convertible
tablet PC
To turn off your convertible tablet PC:
1 Tap or click Start, then tap or click Turn Off Computer. The Turn Off
Computer dialog box opens.
2 Tap or click Turn Off. Windows shuts down and turns off your
convertible tablet PC.

Important If for some reason you cannot use the Turn Off Computer
option in Windows to turn off your convertible tablet PC,
press and hold the power button for about five seconds,
then release it.
