Interrupt Controllers
The Interrupt Controllers are automatically assigned by Windows XP. If you need to check which IRQ is
assigned to a specific device, follow the procedure described below.
1. Click on
Start
, and right-click on
My Computer
. Click on
Properties
.
2. In the
System Properties
window, click on the
Hardware
tab. Click on the
Device Manager
button.
3. In the
Device Manager
window, click on the
View
menu, and click on
Resources by type
.
4. Click on the
+
sign in front of
Interrupt request (IRQ)
to display a list of IRQs and thei
r
assignments.
