Adjusting the volume
You can use the volume controls to adjust the overall volume and the volume
of specific sound devices in your computer.
To adjust the overall volume level using hardware controls:
■ On the keyboard, press the volume system key combination FN+ or
F
N+ to change the volume, or press the mute system key combination
F
N+ to turn off all sound.
To adjust the overall volume level from Windows:
1 Click Start, then select Control Panel. The Control Panel window opens.
2 Select Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices.
3 Select Adjust the system volume. The Sounds and Audio Devices Properties
dialog box opens.
