antenna for satellite calls
Do not push on the end to make it
retract; retraction is automatic
Do not hold the UT by the antenna
Do not store the phone in direct
sunlight (e.g., on the dashboard
of car)
Keep the phone dry and
protected from dust
Be sure the battery is properly installed and charged
Check the battery charge symbol in upper right corner of

Only use QUALCOMM batteries in QUALCOMM phones
Maintaining a proper charge on the battery is essential to maximize the talk time and
standby times. The battery does not need to be completely drained before being recharged.
To make a Globalstar satellite call, carefully rotate the antenna to the correct position for
the ear where the phone will be placed. The antenna extends automatically. When the call
is finished, carefully rotate the antenna back to its storage position, and the antenna will
automatically retract. Do not push on the antenna or it will break.
To not hold the phone by either antenna. Do not touch it during operation as this may cause
the phone to operate at a higher power than needed.
As with any electronic device, protect the UT from rain or dust.
