Hardware Setup for a Macintosh with USB

To connect a Macintosh to the Tri-Mode Phone using USB

1. Turn off the power on your QUALCOMM Globalstar Tri-Mode Phone.

You can leave your computer turned on.

2. Connect the USB adapter to either USB port on your Macintosh.

3. Connect the USB adapter to the 9-pin serial connector of the

QUALCOMM data cable, as shown in “Hardware Setup for a

Macintosh with USB”.
