Providing Account Information
1. Under “Internet account connection information,” make sure that the
“Use area code and dialing rules” check box is set appropriately for
packet or asynchronous data, as shown below:

Packet #777
The #777 number tells the Gateway to set up a packet data
connection
Asynchronous Phone number of the modem you wish to dial (for example,
555-1212).
-or-
A phone book entry from your Tri-Mode Phone (for
example, 05). The phone will attempt to make a data call
using the telephone number associated with that phone
book entry.
