4. In the Advanced Connection Settings dialog, make sure “Use flow
control” and “Hardware (RTS/CTS)” are selected.
5. In the
Extra settings field, type the AT (modem attention) command
appropriate to packet or asynchronous data, as shown below:
6. Click
OK to close the Advanced Communication Settings dialog.
7. On the
Options tab, make sure that none of the check boxes under
“Connection Control” are selected.
8. Under “Status control,” select “Display modem status.”
9. Click
OK to return to the Make New Connection dialog.
