Using Netconf, you can set up a modem and a PPP connection in the same

series of steps.

1. Log in as root.

2. Run

netconf.

3. Click

PPP/SLIP/PLIP to open the Configurations dialog.

Note

If “PPP/SLIP/PLIP” is not available, PPP may not be installed on

your system.

4. In the

Configurations dialog, click Add.
