5 Using the Phone
If your vehicle is equipped with phone capability, you can use the EDU and handset to
make and receive phone calls.
This chapter contains the following sections:
u Answering a phone call
u Making a call from the phone book
u Making a call without the phone book
u Viewing missed calls
When you receive a call, the EDU “rings” by beeping several times rapidly. If you don’t
answer after it “rings” three times, a missed call is logged.

NOTE: Your company defines whether you can receive calls from anyone or only from
the numbers in your phone book.
