u Reading messages
You know that you have a new message waiting to be read when the message waiting
lights are on, when you hear the keyboard beep, and when there is a number in the
Unread Messages field on the View Status screen.
For a quick reference on how to read a message, see the OmniExpress Visor Card.
The unit keeps messages until you are ready to read them. Messages are stored with
the most recent message first.
1. Press the blue key under .
The most recent message sent to you appears on the display.
2. To read the next message, press the blue key under again.
The next message appears.
3. Continue to press the blue key under until the keyboard beeps, indicating
there are no additional messages to read.
4. Do one of the following:
- To display the View Status screen, press .
- To send a message, press the blue key under . See Chapter 4, “Sending
Messages.”
- To reply to the message you’re reading, press the blue key under . See
“Replying to messages” on page 4-17.
