8 Required Regulatory Wording for User
Manual and Installation Manual
The integrator must include text in the user manual to meet the regulators requirements. The
following text or similar wording should be used.
NOTE: The text in red font must be replaced.
8.1 FCC compliance information
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two
conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept
any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This product does not contain any user serviceable components. Any unauthorized product
changes or modifications will invalidate warranty and all applicable regulatory certifications and
approvals, including authority to operate this device.
FCC Part 15 Digital Emissions Compliance

that the product [System Name] complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to
the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this
device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation.

digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
