Battery Care and Maintenance
The phone comes with a rechargeable LiIon battery that is located
on the back of the phone. Leave this battery in the phone at all
times.
The following is typical battery performance:
*Standby time refers to the time your phone is not attached to a charger but is not in use
(the times you are carrying it around).
To extend talk and standby times, you can snap an external
battery onto the back of your phone. The external battery does not
replace the internal battery but works with it. When your internal
battery starts to become low, the external battery begins charging
your phone. The external battery (Model # GXBAT0002) is
purchased separately (see “Accessories” on page 79).
