❑ To erase the message, select [ERASE]; then, if this is a new
message, select [YES].
❑ To keep the message, select [ERASE]; then select [NO]. The
next message appears.
❑ To continue to the next message, select [NEXT].
5. Continue to view messages or press the End/Power key
to return to the Home screen.
6. Scroll to the “Page/Msg” line; then select [OK]. The first new
message opens.
7. Select [VIEW] to look at a message.
Callback numbers
If your service provider provides Caller ID or if your caller left a
phone number in the Page message, you can return the call
without redialing the number. You can also save the number in
your phone book.
To return callback numbers
1. Follow the steps in “Retrieving messages” on page 60 to view
your message.
2. If a phone number is displayed with the message, press and
hold the Send/Talk key . If this number is in your phone
book, the name of the caller also appears.
To save callback numbers

2. Select [SAVE].
3. Follow the steps in “Entering numbers in your book” on
page 36.
Erasing old messages
Your phone can store up to 700 bytes of messages, which is
approximately 23 16-character messages.
