punctuation mark to enter it.

To enter pauses and hyphens
You can save pauses and manual hyphens along with numbers.
Pauses and manual hyphens count towards the 32 characters in
the number.
Pauses are useful for dialing numbers like voicemail or any
numbers that require a security code or credit card number. In
other words, you can enter your voicemail phone number, then a
pause, then the code in your phone book. When you dial this
number from your phone book, it automatically includes your
code.
There are two kinds of pauses:
■ Timed pauses are two seconds long; then resume dialing
automatically.
