2. Once you select the menu item you want, do one of the
following:
Press the Select key .
Enter the number of the Menu selection.

You must provide your lock code to open the Security menu (see
page 64).
To recognize submenus
Each of the menu items from the Main Menu is a menu itself (or a
submenu) that leads to other menu selections. To display a screen
in which you change a setting on your phone, you must make
selections from the Main Menu and its submenu.
For instance to change the volume on your ringer, youd make the
following selections.
To use Menu shortcuts
Each menu item is preceded by a number. Each submenu displays
the number associated with it in the upper-right of the display.
Each screen displays its number as well as the number of the
submenu it came from.
Once you become familiar with the numbers associated with a
particular selection, called menu shortcuts, you can avoid scrolling
down the menu tree.
