Performing a Security Reset
If you need to disable the user account and remove secure capabilities, you can perform
a security reset at any time. After a security reset, you cannot make secure calls, but you
can still make emergency and clear calls. To reactivate the phone, it must be returned to
the Terminal Administrator.
To Perform a Security Reset on Your Phone

From the Home screen, press the Select ( ) key.

Scroll to the
Security
tab, and press the Select ( ) key.

From the Security menu, select
Security Reset
.
A prompt appears asking you to confirm the removal of all secure capability.

Press the Select ( ) key to select [Yes]. This confirms removal of all secure
capability on your phone.
The following occurs:
"
Any active call is terminated.
"
Your secure user PIN is disabled.
"
You are notified that the secure capability has been removed from your
phone.
"
Your phone is powered down.
Caution
There is no way to undo a security reset.
