To Reset the Phone’s Settings

Open the Access menu using the procedure described in “To Open the Access
Menu” on page 83.

From the Access menu, select
Phone Reset
.

Press the Select ( ) key to select [Yes]. This confirms resetting the phone’s
settings.
All of the phone’s settings are reset to default factory values, except for the security
parameters (such as the Access Control settings) that can only be changed from the
Terminal Administrator (TA) menu.
To Lock/Unlock the Phone

Open the Access menu using the procedure described in “To Open the Access
Menu” on page 83.

From the Access menu, select
Lock Phone
.

Select one of the following options:
"
On:
you must enter the Lock Code when you power up the phone
"
Off:
the Lock Code is not required upon power up
To Change the Lock Code

Open the Access menu using the procedure described in “To Open the Access
Menu” on page 83.

From the Access menu, select
Lock Code Change
.

Enter the new Lock Code, and then enter it again to verify it is correct.
The Lock Code is changed accordingly. You will have to enter this new Lock Code
in order to display the Access menu, or power up the phone if the Lock Phone setting
is enabled.
Caution
This option will remove all of the settings that you configured for your
phone. Use this option with extreme caution!
