Transitioning from Clear Voice Calls to Secure Data Calls

[Network Forward]: Forwards the incoming call to a network-stored number.

To Change the Forwarding Number

From the Home screen, press the Select ( ) key.

Scroll to the
Settings
tab, and press the Select ( ) key.

From the Settings menu, select
Sys/Network
.
The Sys/Network menu appears.

Select
Forwarding Number
to change the forwarding number that is used when you
select the [Forward Call] screen key during an incoming call.
Transitioning from Clear Voice Calls to
Secure Data Calls
You can transition from a clear non-emergency voice call to a secure data call. To make
this transition, the originator of the clear voice call must select the [Go Secure Data]
screen key on his/her phone. The receiver of the original voice call cannot successfully
initiate the transition.
During the transition to secure data, if either you or the other party have not logged on as
a secure user, you will be prompted to do so (see “To Log On as a Secure User” on
page 19).

Depending on your phone’s configuration, these screen keys (call forwarding
options) may not be available.

Depending on your phone’s configuration, the Forwarding Number menu item
(and call forwarding in general) may not be available.

Transitioning from a clear data call to a secure data call is not permitted.
