Navigating Menus and Screens
Returning to the Home Screen
While navigating through screens and menus, you can return to the Home screen by
pressing the Power/End-call ( ) key.
Navigating Menus
The following procedure describes how to navigate through the menu structure of your
phone. It includes a short description of each main application (tab).

From the Home screen, press the Select ( ) key.
A series of application tabs appears on the screen, with the currently selected tab
and its associated icon displayed.

Use the Left and Right navigation keys to scroll through these tabs. The following
applications are included in your phone:

Settings
tab: Allows you to configure your phone’s sound, display, alerts,
etc. Refer to “Customizing Your Phone” on page 77 for a complete
description of the settings in your phone.

Contacts
tab: Allows you to build and customize your electronic phone
book (Contacts list), including adding speed dial numbers. Refer to “Using
the Contacts Database” on page 59 for procedures on setting up and
customizing your Contacts list.

Recent Calls
tab: Provides a list of recent calls. This tab allows convenient
viewing of numbers that were recently dialed or received by your phone.
Refer to “Accessing Recent Calls” on page 69.
Caution
When you return to the Home screen, all unsaved or incomplete data/
procedures will be lost.
