Did not see “battery low”
alert before phone power
failed
The QSec-2700 phone cannot play alert tones while it is in a
secure call, or during loading of secure software or keys.
During secure calls, monitor the battery icon at the top of the
screen to see if the power is running low (see “Screen Icons”
on page 9). Before doing a secure software download or key
loading, make sure the phone has sufficient power.
Clear Voice Calls
Cannot make clear calls Make sure your phone is authorized for clear calls. Select
the
Security, Access Control
menu item, and check the
‘Security Strap’ setting. If this setting is Secure-only, contact
your Terminal Administrator.
Cannot access the
Security
menu during a
clear call
This is normal behavior. While a clear call is active, you are
prevented from navigating into the
Security
menu. To
access the
Security
menu, you must be on the Home
screen, or engaged in a secure call.
Secure Voice Calls
Secure call failed - “Failed
to establish data channel”
This error occurs when the phone failed to set up an async
call with the other phone. Modem training may have failed.
Try again. If the problem persists, contact your Terminal
Administrator.
