Using this Guide
The following table describes the formatting that is used throughout the procedures and
informational text in this guide. Text formatting is used to help identify menu items, screen
keys, and descriptive information pertaining to a procedure.
This guide also uses graphic icons to identify important information that should be read in
order to save time, learn more about a procedure or topic, avoid potential loss of data or
equipment damage, or avoid bodily injury.
Convention Example Means the following:
Bolded Text Select the
Security
tab.
Using the navigation keys, scroll to the Security
tab, and then press the Select key to open it.
Bracketed Text Select [OK]. Using the navigation keys, scroll to the OK screen
key, and then press the Select key to choose it.
Italicized Text
The Volume
screen appears.
Italicized text describing what should happen as a
result of completing a step in a procedure.
Tip
Tips provide suggestions or alternatives to make a certain procedure easier
to perform.
Note
Notes provide additional information about a procedure, or an outcome from
a procedure.
Caution
Cautions alert you to a potential for loss of data or equipment damage.
Warning
Warnings help you avoid personal injury. Be sure to read all warnings before
starting a procedure.

All phone screens shown in this user guide are pictorial representations of the
actual QSec-2700 phone screens; they are not intended to be exact replications
of these screens.
