Achieving Optimal In-call Performance
!
Do not touch the antenna while you are on a call.
!
If you have trouble making a connection, stand near a window while making the call,
or go outside.
Caring for Your Phone
!
Treat your phone gently
. Use commonsense guidelines to avoid dropping it, hitting
it, or sitting on it.
!
Clean your phone with a soft, damp cloth and, if necessary, a mild soap.
Avoid
using cleaning solvents and strong detergents.
Caution
Keep your phone dry. Moisture can corrode electronic circuits. If the phone
gets wet, turn the power off immediately and remove the external battery,
if one is attached. Let it dry before you use it again.
Do not leave your phone in the sun, or in extremely hot or cold places.
Caution
Do not let unauthorized personnel install or service your phone or
accessories. Faulty installation or service may damage your phone, and is
against security protocols.
Caution
Only use QUALCOMM-approved accessories with QUALCOMM phones.
Use of any unauthorized accessories will invalidate your phone warranty
if said accessories cause damage to the phone. See “Accessories” on
page 131.
