Setting the Alarm

Scroll up or down to change the value of the hour, minute or AM/PM setting. Scroll

left or right to switch from hour to minute, and so on.

Press the Select ( ) key to set the alarm schedule. Select one of the following

options:

[Once]:

The alarm will only go off during the next instance of the alarm

time.

[Daily]:

The alarm will go off every day of the week.

[Weekdays]:

The alarm will go off Monday through Friday only.

To Respond to an Active Alarm

When the alarm goes off, an alarm notification appears on your phone’s screen, the

audible alert is played, and the alarm time blinks.

Select one of the following options to respond to this alarm:

[Off]: stops the alarm and the audible alert

[Snooze]:

delays the alarm for ten minutes. The new alarm time is displayed; the

alarm will go off again after this period.

Note

An enabled alarm will remain set even if the phone is turned off. The alarm icon

will appear on the screen whenever an alarm is enabled.

Note

During a secure call, you will not be able to hear the audible alert or see the

alarm notification. See “Making Secure Calls” on page 31 for a discussion of

secure call limitations.

Note

After one of these options is selected, you are returned to the previous

application. The alarm icon disappears when the alarm is turned off, but

remains on the screen if the [Snooze] option is selected.
