9 Module May Not Be Installed by End
Users
FCC rules require the Module to be installed in host systems at the factory by the OEM
integrator. Thus, end users of the system may not install the Module. Therefore, the host product
user instructions must not advise the end user on how to access or remove the Module. Additional
FCC authorization/filing is needed to allow end-user installation of radio modules.
