For best performance
To properly operate the phone and maintain safe and satisfactory service,
follow these rules.
• Do not hold the NIU antenna at any time, as contact with the antenna
affects call quality.
• Do not use the NIU if the antenna is damaged.
• Do not expose the NIU and accessories to rain or liquid spills. If the
phone becomes wet, immediately unplug the AC adaptor. If the phone is
inoperable after drying, return it to the dealer for service.
• Only authorized personnel should service the NIU and its accessories.
Faulty installation or service may be hazardous and may invalidate the
warranty.
Antenna care
Use only the antenna supplied or an approved replacement antenna.
Unauthorized antennas, modifications, or attachments could damage the
NIU and may violate local and government regulations.
Cleaning
Before cleaning your NIU, unplug the AC adaptor. Use a damp cloth for
cleaning. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
Electronic devices
Most modern electronic equipment is shielded against RF energy. However,
certain electronic equipment may not be shielded against the RF signals
from your NIU.
