Connecting the external BBPS to the NIU
Connecting the panel antenna to the NIU
NOTE
To assemble the BBPS, refer to
the directions in the BBPS
package.
1. Attach the BBPS connector
to the NIU.
2. Attach the power cord to the
BBPS.
3. Plug the power cord into the
wall outlet.
1. Attach one end of the coaxial
cable into the indoor panel
antenna.
2. Attach the other end of the
coaxial cable to the NIU.
3. Connect the AC adaptor to the
NIU.
4. Plug the AC adaptor into the wall
outlet.
NOTE
QUALCOMM recommends use of high-
quality coaxial cable (maximum cable
loss of 3 dB) to avoid degrading
signal strength.
Locate the NIU such that its antenna
remains at least 20 cm (8 inches)
from user.

page 17.
