CONNECTING ACCESSORIES
Connecting the internal battery to the NIU
1. Remove the battery compartment cover by pressing down on both
arrows and sliding the cover away from the NIU.
2. Line up the connector on the battery with the connector pins in the
battery compartment. With your index finger, press the battery
connector into place.
3. Place the battery into the compartment, foam side first, making sure
that it fits securely.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover. If the cover jams, reorient and
try again.
5. Set the on/off switch to the on (I) position to activate automatic
internal battery backup.
