User-programmable alarms
With the NIU you can set from one to six occasional alarms to sound within
a 24-hour period. One standing alarm can also be set to ring at the same
time every day.
If an alarm sounds for a full minute and no one stops it, it will ring again
five minutes later. To stop the ringing, momentarily lift the telephone
handset. If you are on a call, the alarm will automatically be rescheduled to
ring five minutes later.
NOTE
The time and date is automatically acquired from the CDMA digital network.
You do not need to set it.
NOTE
If a fax machine or answering machine is connected to your telephone, it may
interfere with the operation of alarms.
