Disables the automatic battery backup power
source.
The NIU’s power light will not be illuminated when
the switch is set to the off ( O ) position, although
the battery will still charge normally while the AC
adaptor is plugged into a wall outlet.
NOTE
When taking the NIU out of service for an extended
period of time, move the switch to the off ( O )
position. This avoids deeply discharging the battery
and damaging its ability to retain a charge.

Mate with a standard wall mounting plate or fit over
the heads of screws placed in the wall.
NOTE
Mounting screws must be securely driven into wood or
concrete/brick with appropriate anchors.
