Parts of the NIU
Power light When illuminated green or blue, indicates power is
on.
When flashing green or blue, indicates NIU is
operating from internal battery.
When flashing red, indicates NIU is operating from
internal battery and battery power is low.
When illuminated red, indicates internal battery is
charging.
Antenna
connection
Connects the dipole antenna or panel antenna cable
to the NIU.
DC jack Connects the AC adaptor to the NIU.
Telephone
jacks (2)
Connect multiple devices (such as touchtone
telephones, answering machine, fax machine, or
modems) to the NIU simultaneously, up to a
maximum total of 5 REN B (see pages 6 and 30).
Dipole
antenna
Transmits and receives radio frequency signals.
(Use it in the upright position.)
