Power save mode
Your phone automatically switches to a power-save mode if
it has not found a signal after about 15 minutes of
searching. Power-save mode decreases the drain on the
battery.
When the phone is in power-save mode, you cannot make
or receive calls. “Power Save Mode” and the No Signal icon
( ) appear on the display.
The phone periodically rechecks for a signal. Press any key
to manually check for service. When the phone finds a
signal, it automatically switches out of power-save mode
and displays the Signal Strength icon ( ) at the top of
the display.
