Saving a name with the number
To enter letters, press the key labeled with the letter you
want. For instance, if you press , the letter A
appears on the display. Press again to cycle
through the remaining letters.
Two seconds after you choose a character, or when you
enter another letter, the cursor moves to the right one
space. You can also press or to move the
cursor backward or forward.
Example. To enter the name “Ann,” press once to
enter the capital letter “A.” Press the key under
[A->a] to switch to lower case. Press twice to enter
a lower case “n.” Move the cursor to the last space and
press twice again to enter the second “n.”

To switch between upper and lower case
1. The letters start out in upper case. Press the
key under [A->a] to change to lower case. The [A->a]
Smart Key changes to [a->A].
2. Press the key under [a->A] to return to upper
case.
