Charging the batteries
Your phone comes with a rechargeable internal lithium ion
(LiIon) battery. You do not need to remove this battery for
charging. The battery is partially charged when you receive
the phone. If the battery level falls too low, the phone
turns off without saving any functions in progress.
Your phone comes
with either an AC
Adaptor or a Global
Travel Charger
(Model # TXTVL031).
Fully charge the
battery as soon as
you can to maximize
talk time. LiIon
batteries are
extremely reliable
and provide exceptionally long talk and standby times.
See “Charging accessories” on page 53 to learn about the
variety of charging accessories available for your phone.
You can purchase an optional external battery to extend
the talk and standby times. If the external battery is
attached to the phone, the charging accessory charges the
internal battery first, then the external. See “External
batteries” on page 49 for more information.
