Real Name field, enter the real name assigned to your principal
account. It’s generally your first and last name. The name you enter here
is included in the From field of all your outgoing messages and
identifies to your recipients who the mail is from.
real name in an electronic mail system, refers to a person’s given name,
such as Jane Smith.
Return Address The address you enter here is included in the From field
of all your outgoing messages from this account. When a recipient
replies to a message from this account, the reply is sent to this address.
If you do not enter an address in this field, pdQmail uses your incoming
mail account as the return address.
Incoming mail accounts are usually in the following form:
loginname@incomingmailserver.
For example, suppose your incoming mail account is
rclark@worldmail.qualcomm.com but your return address is
rclark@qualcomm.com. This is slightly different. You would then
enter rclark@qualcomm.com in this field.
script refers to a script file used by some communications programs to
automate logging onto communication services such as e-mail.
scroll bar is a bar that appears at the right border of a window whose
contents are not completely visible. Each scroll bar contains two scroll
arrows and a scroll box which enable you to scroll through the contents
of the window.
serial port is an input/output port used to connect serial devices, such
as a mouse, external modem, or pdQ smartphone cradle to a computer.
server is that part of a queuing system providing the service requested
by a customer.
Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) is the Internet standard protocol
used for transferring electronic messages from one computer to another.
