2 Tap the Forgotten Password button in the Security application to
remove the password and delete all Private entries.
3 Synchronize pdQ smartphone and your computer to restore the
private entries by transferring them from your computer to pdQ
smartphone.
I forgot the password and my pdQ smartphone is locked:
■ If you assign and lock a password, you must reset pdQ smartphone to
continue using your organizer. To reset pdQ smartphone, open the flip
and use the stylus to press the Reset button found below the To Do List
button.
Applications Troubleshooting
The following troubleshooting tips are specific to the various applications.
Pressing Today doesn’t display the current date:
■ pdQ smartphone is not set to the current date. Make sure the Set Date
box in the General Preferences screen displays the current date. See
“General Preferences” in the pdQ Applications Handbook for more
information.
Entries seem to be missing in various applications:
■ Check the Categories pick list (upper-right corner of the screen). Choose
All to display all of the records for the application.
■ Check the Security application and make sure that the Private Records
setting is set to Show private records.
Memo Pad application:
■ If you cannot manually arrange the order of the memos in the List
screen, check the Memo Preferences setting. Make sure that Sort by is
set to Manual.
■ If you choose to view your memos alphabetically and then synchronize
pdQ smartphone and your computer, the memos on pdQ smartphone
still appear in the order defined in the Memo Preferences setting. In
other words, the sort settings that you use with Palm Desktop software
are not transferred to pdQ smartphone.
Date Book application:
■ In the Week View, you cannot select overlapping events that have the
same start time. If you have two or more events with the same start
time, choose the Day View for the particular day to see the overlapping
events.
