Defining pdQmail Preferences
To enter a Username:
Tap the Username line, then enter the user name you want to use.
Server
The Server manages your incoming e-mail.
To enter a Server name:
Tap the Server line, then enter the name for the server you want to use.
Save Password
Check the Save Password check box to avoid having to enter a password each
time you launch pdQmail. Uncheck the check box to return to having to
enter a password when you launch pdQmail.
To save a password:
Tap the Save Password check box.
Download first ___ lines
To save memory, you can limit the number of lines that display for each e-
mail message. If you enter zero, only the header for the e-mail message
appears. If you want, you can display an entire message. The recommended
setting is 25.
To define the number of lines displayed in an e-mail message:
Tap the Download first ___ line, then enter the number of lines you
want to display for each e-mail message you receive.
Delete Messages from Server
To help ensure that the server performs as expected, avoid saving
unnecessary e-mail messages on the server. Choose from these options:
Tap the check box or check boxes that apply, then tap OK.
When fully
downloaded
Deletes e-mail messages on the server that have
been delivered to pdQ smartphone. Messages
shortened due to the Download first ___ lines field
value, not delivered due to defined filters, or those
with attachments are not deleted.
