Mail Host
The Mail Host is the computer on which e-mail messages are stored.
To enter a Mail Host name:
Tap the Mail Host line, then enter the mail host name you want to use.
Return Address (Optional)
The Return Address you enter appears in the From: field on all outgoing e-
mail messages. When someone replies to an e-mail message, the reply is
sent to this address. If you do not define a Return Address, pdQmail uses
the username for the return address.
To enter a Return Address:
Tap the Return Address line, then enter your return e-mail address.
Mail Checking Options
Mail Checking options determine how pdQ smartphone checks for and
receives incoming mail messages. Some fields apply to more than one screen
or dialog. If you defined a field earlier, pdQmail inserts the previously
entered field value automatically. Be sure to revise field values as required.
To open the Mail Checking screen:
1 Tap to display pdQmail’s menu bar.
2 Tap Options, then Mail Checking.
Username
The Username is the name used to log into a specific e-mail account. It
usually consists of the text that appears before @ in your return e-mail
address.
