Preferences
The Preferences screens enable you to customize the configuration
options on your pdQ™ smartphone. If you want to define a
preference that is not described in this chapter, refer to the pdQ
Basics Handbook.
With the Preferences screens, you can:
■ Set the current date and time, the auto shut-off interval, and the
system, alarm and game sounds.
■ Set the display format for dates, times and numbers.
■ Assign your name, phone number and other owner information to pdQ
smartphone.
■ Assign different applications to the buttons on the front panel of
pdQ smartphone.
■ Define a list of Graffiti® abbreviations.
■ Align the screen on pdQ smartphone.
■ Configure pdQ smartphone for use with a network.
To open the Preferences screens:
1 Open the keypad, then tap to open the Applications Launcher.
2 Tap to display the last Preferences screen you used.
3 Tap the pick list in the upper-right corner to select the Preferences
screen you want to view.
