Cable Installation Tightening Cable Connectors

Tightening Cable Connectors

Hand tighten all cable connectors. Do not use tools to tighten the connectors.

All connectors should attach smoothly. Use proper care when connecting cables. If they bind

or offer excessive resistance, make sure the connectors:

• Are properly aligned

• Have no bent pins or other damage

• Are clean and free of dirt
