•MAS — Install on the floor in the passenger side toolbox. This is a storage spot that allows
for easy internal cable routing.
- Install so there is always access to the SD card slot.
• Display unit
— Install on the engine cover (dog house) where it will be accessible to both
the driver and passenger.
• Cables
— Route internally (the cableways are less crowded on the passenger side).
Connect the power cable to the electrical panel.
- Install so a 1 1/2" hole can be cut for the SDM cable.
Peterbilt
•MAS — Install in the passenger side toolbox. This is a storage area that allows for easy
cable routing.
- Install so there is always access to the SD card slot.
• Display unit
— Because of limited space, install behind the passenger seat.
• Cables
— Route display unit cables internally or externally. Because of easy access,
connect the power cable to the solenoid behind the pyrometer panel.
- Cables exit/enter the sleeper floor near the MAS.
- Cables enter/exit the cab through the firewall, high on the passenger side, using the
existing cable path. You will need to remove the map box.
- Install so a 1 1/2" hole can be cut for the SDM cable.
