- Install so a 1 1/2" hole can be cut for the SDM cable.
Freightliner Century/Columbia
•MAS — Install in the passenger side toolbox. Hang from the bunk.
- Install so there is always access to the SD card slot.
• Display unit
— Install on the face of the connector panel where it will be accessible to both
the driver and passenger.
• Cables
— Route internally.
- Install so a 1 1/2" hole can be cut for the SDM cable.
Kenworth
•MAS — Install in the driver side toolbox. Hang from the bunk.
- Install so there is always access to the SD card slot.
• Display unit
— Install on the face of the mapbox where it will be accessible.
• Cables
— Route externally. Connect the power cable to the key switch.
- Cables exit/enter the sleeper floor near the MAS.
- Cables enter/exit the cab through the firewall high on the driver side. Look for rubber
plugs.
- Install so a 1 1/2" hole can be cut for the SDM cable.
