Option Screens
To monitor the operation of the MCP, use the display unit option screens.
To access the option screens:
1. Press the MDU ▼ or ▲ keys.
2. Press ▼ or ▲ to move from one screen to another.
MCP Time Zone Screen
The MCP Time Zone screen lets you select the time zone that the MCP uses to display the
current time and the times at which messages are received and sent. The selected time zone
also displays on the View Status screen. The selection that you make affects all times
displayed on your MCP, including those for previously sent and received messages. The MCP
remembers the time zone that you select even when power is turned off.
To view or select a time zone, follow these steps:
1. Press the VIEW STATUS key.
2. To select a different time zone, press the + or - key. This causes a different time zone to
display at the bottom of the screen.
3. Continue pressing the + or - key until the desired time zone displays.
If you press the + key repeatedly, in the United States, the MCP displays all time zones,
one by one, beginning at the current setting. Hubs outside of the United States can
determine which time zones are downloaded to their units.
