radio interference
• The Hub is provided with double insulation and therefore
does not require a Protective Earth (PE) ground pin for safe
use. In a double insulated appliance, two levels of insulation
are provided instead of grounding as a means of protecting
the user from risk of electric shock. A double-insulated
appliance is marked with the words “DOUBLE INSULATION”
or “DOUBLE INSULATED”, or with the symbol:
• The Hub has no parts that are serviceable by users.
Servicing of this device requires extreme care and
knowledge of the system and should only be done by
qualified service personnel or by the manufacturer.
Implantable Medical Devices
Persons with implantable medical devices should observe the
following precautions:
• Always keep the Hub more than 6 inches (15 cm) from the
implantable medical device when the Hub is plugged into
electrical power.
• Unplug the Hub immediately if you have any reason to
suspect that interference is taking place.
• Read and follow the directions from the manufacturer of
your implantable medical device. If you have any questions
about using your Hub with your implantable medical device,
consult your healthcare provider.
