Settings
Search
You can use Search settings to configure Google search and the data on
the device that you want to include in searches.
Web
Web contains the following option:
Google search
Tap to open a screen where you can set your preferences for whether
Google search on the web makes suggestions. You can also open the
Google web search history settings page in Browser.
Device
Device contains the following options:
Searchable items
Tap to open a screen where you can select the kinds of data to be
included in searches.
Clear shortcuts
Tap to erases the list of recently chosen search results.
Language & keyboard
You can use Language & keyboard settings to select the language for the
text on your device and for configuring the onscreen keyboard, including
words that you’ve added to its dictionary.
Date & time
You can use Date & time settings to set your preferences for how dates are
displayed. You can also use these settings to set your own time and time
zone, rather than obtaining the current time from the mobile network.
Automatic
Uncheck this option to set the date, time and time zone on the device
manually rather than obtaining the current time from the mobile
network.
Set date
If Automatic is unchecked, tapping it will open a dialog where you can
manually set the device’s date.
Select time zone
If Automatic is unchecked, tapping it will open a dialog where you can
set the device’s time zone.
Set time
If Automatic is unchecked, tapping it will open a dialog where you can
manually set the device’s time.
Use 24-hour format
Check this option to display the time using 24-hour time format - for
example, 13:00 rather than 1:00 pm.
This option is only supported by 3G models.
