5 GHz 802.1X Configuration
The IEEE 802.1X protocol is designed to support port-based authentication
and secure key distribution. It can be used to distribute unique encryption
keys for an entire BSS. Atheros provides support for this protocol on both the
AP and the STA.
To enable 802.1X on the AP, take the following steps on the 5 GHz RADIUS
Server Configuration window:
1. Specify the domain name server IP address.
2. Specify the name of the domain server.
3. Specify a RADIUS Server name.
4. Specify a RADIUS Server secret.
5. Specify the location of the 5 GHz Key Source as Remote.
