2.1.1.2 Option 2: Ethernet Connection (Do not perform if serial connection used)
Configuring for an Ethernet application requires the additional step of setting the host static IP address. While the
terminal is provisioned with a static IP address, the host PC will need a static IP address. Follow the instructions
below to set a Windows host with a static IP address.
2.1.1.2.1 Setting the Host Static IP
To set a static IP address on a windows host open the network and file sharing center from the system tray:

Next, from the Network and Sharing Center, select ‘Change adapter settings’.
